Moved
by the Kkot-tongne experience, which is a real mission of
Love and Service, and the sharing of the experience of each
other in PANASCO V, We, Vincentians from Asia and Oceania,
commit ourselves to improve our response to the needs of the
poor by:
"The
Dream" that at PANASCO VI, the Youth should have been
so integrated into the Society thatthe Youth membership and
involvement are no longer an issue.
Our fidelity to the Vincentian way of life in all its aspects
and at all levels of the SSVP membership, as a way of assuring
the poor, who are crying to be led out of their slavery due
to poverty into freedom,
which is theirs as human being.
Creating opportunities for the poor and rich to dialogue on
their responsibility to each other, guided by the social teaching
of the Church, from which should ensue the neces sary creative
and sustainable development for the poor, backed up by a change
of mind-sets so that we can more relate to each other as brothers
and sisters in Christ.
By promoting a structure in the Society among the countries
of Asia and Oceania, which will enable us to be more in solidarity
with each other as Vincentians.
Through
the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the inspiration
of St. Vincent de Paul and Blessed Frederic Ozanam, We, the
Vincentians of Asia and Oceania pledge to make our commitment
to achieve
our Mission of Love and Service.
